Quick Easy Delila Crochet Baby hat

Materials:

  • K hook
  • 2 strands together of medium worsted weight yarn or a bulky weight yarn. I used 2 strands together of Loops & Threads in Chameleon.
  • Blunt needle

 

Abbreviations:

Ch- chain

dc- double crochet

fpdc- front post double crochet

st(s)- stitch(es)

sl st- slip stitch

 

The Pattern:

Make magic ring, ch 1

Row 1: Dc 8 times in ring, sl st to join.

Row 2: Ch 2, 2 dc in each st around, sl st to join.

Row 3: Ch 2, 2 dc in first st, dc in second, repeat around, sl st to join.

Row 4: Ch 2, 2 dc in first, dc in next 2 sts, repeat around, sl st to join.

Rows 5-7: Ch 2, dc around.

Row 8: Ch 2, dc in first st, fpdc in next (around dc from previous row), repeat around.

Row 9-10: Ch 2, dc in first st, fpdc around previous fpdc, repeat around.

Row 11: Ch 1, sc around, sl st in first st, fasten off, weave in end.
