Materials

Here is what you will need to make this snuggly baby blanket:

  • A size H-8 (5 mm) Crochet Hook.
  • Knit Picks Comfy worsted weight yarn:
    • 6 skeins (654 yards) Peony (Color A)
    • 4 skeins (436 yards) Whisker (Color B)
    • 4 Skeins (436 yards) Ivory (Color C)
  • Scissors.
  • Yarn Needle (to weave in ends).

Measurements:

Blanket Measures 26” wide X 31” long.

Abbreviations:

CH: Chain.

FC: Foundation Chain.

SC: Single Crochet.

DC: Double Crochet.

Pattern:

With Color A, chain 100 (or a multiple of 3 plus 1).

Row 1: 1 DC in 4th ch from hook, CH2, 1 SC in same ch as last DC; *skip 2 ch, [2 DC, CH2, 1 SC] in next ch; repeat from * to end of row; CH3 and turn.

Row 2: [1 DC, CH2, 1 SC] in first ch2 space; *[2 DC, CH2, 1SC] in next ch2 space; repeat from * to end of row; CH3 and turn.

Repeat Row 2 for pattern, switching colors after every 8 rows (following color chart to the right).
